L’Oreal Tint Caresse Review – Plum Blossom & Lily Blossom

I know it’s too late for me to review these lippies since a lot of bloggers already expressed their thoughts about this. This is my first ever powder lipstick to try and since I have dry lips for the past months, at first I was hesitant to try this out.

The Loreal Tint Caresse is a powder lipstick from Loreal which I tempt to try. I got two shades, the Plum Blossom and the Lily Blossom.

Product Claims:

L’Oreal’s revolutionary powder lipstick with a matte finish and long-wearing formula. Highly-pigmented, transfer-proof color; powder formula delivers a lightweight, rich, matte stain and silky feel; sponge-tip applicator gives you precision control so you can tackle trends like ombré lips and two-tone lip color. Transfer-proof lip color with depth and dimension.

Product Haul – Month of June

I hope this is not too late to post, my product haul for the month of June.

I’v been raving these products for a long time and I’m so happy to finally purchase these beauty products.

All the products have been tested and will have a detailed review about them soon!

The products I bought were:
1. In2it Powder Foundation – There are a lot of positive reviews online about this product. I think this one is a refill for the original powder foundation.  This could be used as a finishing touch or as a setting powder, but never use it for touch ups especially when you’re oily like me and you need a few touch ups during the day.

2. Maybelline Eyeshadow Quad – Very easy for everyday use. It applies smoothly and has great pigmentation. I also love the color combination, it has natural shades.

Loreal Everlasting Thickening Conditioner First Impression

I was looking for a sulfate-free conditioner to use for my brazilian treated hair. So I got the chance to grab the Loreal Everstrong Thickening Conditioner. This is a drugstore product and I love it!

So why use sulfate-free products? Mild detergents that don’t completely wash away your hair’s moisture. They have names that are a mouthful and sound similar to sulfates, like sodium lauryl sulfoacetate. And unlike traditional conditioner, sulfate-free ones don’t create as many suds.

Product Claims:

  • Nourishes Scalp
  • Paraben-Free
  • Sulfate-Free
  • Natural Botanicals
Gently removes build up of excess oils, environmental pollutants and product build up for a clean, healthy scalp and thicker, stronger looking hair.

My Experience:

I have thick hair eversince and I am looking for a thickener that I could use every time I showered. This produces a thick, creamy lather so a little bit goes a long way. It gently cleans overly dry. I LOVE the smell of this shampoo. It smells so minty and fresh. It’s wonderful. It’s gives my hair volume and helps with breakage. My hair feels soft and has some extra body and natural shine. I bought it for P350.00 and I can say that it is pricey for a drugstore conditioner. It’s gives my hair volume and helps with breakage. After continued use I do noticed that my hair is very soft and smooth. My mom shares this with me because she finds it really effective for her grumpy hair.  I would definitely repurchase it.

Pros:

sulfate-free
fresh and minty scent
volumizes the hair minimize hair breakage

Cons:

pricey for a drugstore conditioner

Will I buy it again?

Definitely YES!

Mary Kay Foundation Primer Review

Hi guys! It’s review time! 🙂 I am going to share with you my experience with Mary Kay foundation primer. Yes, this product is way more expensive compared to other drugstore primer brands but it took me like forever to decide whether to purchase this or not. But hey, I bought it, because I’ve been dying to try this out. Please continue reading my review below! 🙂

Product Claims:

This lightweight gel glides on easily to fill in imperfections and dries quickly to a matte finish to create the perfect canvas for a flawless foundation application that enhances foundation benefits and extends wear.
  • Oil-free formula with SPF 15* is mineral-enriched to absorb oil and diffuse light to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores.
  • For all skin types, including sensitive skin.
  • Fragrance-free, dermatologist-tested and non-comedogenic.
  • Can be used with any Mary Kay® foundation.

Packaging:

For me, the packaging is on point. It is in a light peach squeeze tube that is easy to use, has a faint flowery scent that’s fine with me.

My Experience:

I bought this Mary Kay foundation primer for P1390 something ( I’m really not sure with the price 🙂 ). It doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy after applying foundation on top of that. The consistency is like a gel one just like the Fix primer I guess. Once applied on the skin, it feels really smooth and I love that it doesn’t oil up fast much since I have an oily skin. Also, my foundation applies just fine over it and looks pretty nice so I’m satisfied with the overall application.

The foundation primer has SPF15 which protects your skin from harmful rays of the sun, that’s a big plus for me. Upon application, it doesn’t leave any residue on my fingers.  It keeps the foundation lasts all day without smearing, in short everything sticks well.

It is suitable for sensitive skin, fragrance-free, and non-comedogenic (does not clog pores) and dermatologist tested. Perfect for those who don’t want to make pores, wrinkles and fine lines noticeable. The only downside of this product is it’s longetivity. It doesn’t lasts the whole day considering it’s price. My face tends to oil up after four hours of application.

Pros:
  • Nicely packaged making it easy to control amount of product needed.
  • Box printed with expiration date.
  • My skin looked smooth and airbrushed
  • Dries up matte and lightweight.
  • Has SPF15 that protects the skin from UV rays
  • Doesn’t leave any residue on the fingers when applied

Cons:
  • After fours hours of application, my skin started to oil up
  • Need blotting paper to get rid of face excess oil
  • Very pricey
